whats happening now?

current happenings

with the beginning of summer, ive had alot of time on my hands, so what have i been doing with that time? well, making this site! i wont go too in depth but ive spent an absurd amount of hours on this place.
ive found some time to draw a bit more aswell, though still not as much as id like. i wanted to get myself prepared to possibly participate in artfight this year, but honestly with the pace i create at i dont think that was ever in the books for me.
my interest in physical music (mostly CDs and records) has also been increasing lately, though i havent been able to indulge in it much, it is quite and expensive hobby after all. so far, i think the most notable thing i have in my very small collection is a limited edition CD of the original Twin Fantasy by Car Seat Headrest, exclusive to his NYC May Tour from 2015!

Im still listening to alot of Car Seat Headrest, i tend to pick up artists one at a time and just listen exclusively to them for a while, but this time its lasted for longer than i expected (though, i wouldnt call it a bad thing, i love CSH!)
I think my favorite album currently is Nervous Young Man, i sometimes have a hard time understanding song lyrics but alot of the emotion is beautifully represented in the sound, i think listening to the instrumentals alone would bring me to tears. i love every track on the album but i think my favorites are Broken Birds, Plane Crash Blues, and Jus' Tired.

*cough cough* damn, had something in my throat there... but yes, ive been playing chapters 3 & 4 of DELTARUNE, and i dont think i could put into words the absolute dumbfoundedness i found myself in while playing, im certain this will be a generational story.
Im pretty sure half the earth has played at this point, but if you havent, do it!!! right now!!! ill buy it for you if i have to!!!!!! (no i wont)

that aside, i dont actually play that many games anymore, but ive been getting slightly back into playing splatoon since version 10.0.0 released, and while the new content has been fun, im not sure if itll be enough to rope me back into the game fully. i could talk forever about my thoughts on splatoon 3, but i think i may leave that for a blog post, dont want this to be too long
